We are Year 9 Students at Saint Olave’s Grammar School
“Our team consists of three people, seemingly insignificant but we have been friends ever since we first started this school and spend a lot of time in and out of school! We are ready to make a difference, Together.”

SPARSH

Hi I’m Sparsh, a student at Saint Olave’s Grammar School, the team leader of this team, I think that we should all help out and give back to our society so I leapt at this opportunity to raise money for a cause, as I believe that education is key for a succesful career and that we should all be given equal opportunities to prove ourselves to the world, I think that what the Wings of Hope charity does is really amazing and I love to help them out.
In my spare time, I love playing badminton, chess and table tennis, all of which I play for a club. I also swim, play the piano at a grade 6 level, sing in 3 choirs and I love acting at LAMDA! Furthermore, along with Rugved and Philip, I am the coder at the VEX Robotics team – Team Olave’s where we went to national finals last year, placing a respectable 11th in the country, and the F1 in schools Stem Racing team- Quantum Drive where I am the lead design manager( we have our first regional tournament in the Development class very soon!)
I think the leadership and organisational skills I have developed through these extracurriculars makes me fit to be Team Leader of our Team, I am in charge of brainstorming ideas for the team and organising the fundraisers, although I receive a lot of help from the others as well!
RUGVED

Hello, I am Rugved, and I am in charge of Operations and Marketing (you might like this website, I have a reason why, I made it!). I love doing creative stuff in my free time. For example, I like designing on cad, I like playing creative games on my Xbox such as Minecraft. I also like doing extracurricular activities such as; F1 in schools (where I love using cad and designing our car), Vex IQ (where I like building and coding our robot) and last but not least I also do LAMDA, this is where my creativeness really excels!
My main goal is to make a difference in children’s education because I truly believe education is the foundation for a better life. It has the power to shape futures, foster growth, and unlock opportunities. I am genuinely excited to help with WOHAA as it really helps the wider community. I am passionate about supporting a cause that empowers young people to achieve their full potential.
PHILIP

I love playing the piano, violin and organ after school! I adore instruments and I am a concert player! When I’m not playing anything, I play rugby with my friends! I also like cooking and spent some of my free time making food for the community. The skills I have achieved from these extracurriculars make me suitable to manage the communications and finance part of our WOHAA team as managing money has always been easy for me and I organise our schedules for fundraisers. I think all the fun stuff has already been said above though…
